The São Paulo Research Foundation has an open call for the International Thematic Grant (InTheGra), which aims to foster the association of outstanding researchers in their research areas, who have been living abroad, without employment for less than 12 months, Brazilians or foreigners, to qualified higher education and research institutions in the state of São Paulo, Brazil.
The research project should follow the guidance of the Thematic Projects. These are distinctive due to the nature, boldness, and scope of proposed research activities, and in the experience required from the Principal Investigator in the field of the project. The project must involve a team of several investigators, often from different departments or institutions, to obtain scientific or technological results that greatly push the boundaries of knowledge.
The rules of Thematic Project Grant are available at fapesp.br/en/thematic.
Support is provided in the form of a Grant, and Principal Investigators who are not yet formal employees of research Institutions may be awarded a InTheGra Fellowship for a period of up to 24 months.
For this Call, a maximum of 20 projects will be selected. The deadline is 30 June.
